Refund & Cancellation Policy

Overview

Victoria Waterproofing is a service business. Our engagements involve site visits, material procurement, and skilled labour deployed to your property. Because of this, our refund and cancellation policy reflects the real costs incurred at each stage of a project.

This policy applies to all waterproofing, leak repair, and material supply engagements entered into with Victoria Waterproofing (operated by Subhash Chander, Sangareddy, Telangana).

Site inspection

Initial site inspections are provided at no charge for properties in our service area (Sangareddy, Hyderabad, and surrounding districts of Telangana).

No advance payment is required to book a site inspection. There is nothing to refund at this stage.

Advance payment and mobilisation

Once you accept a written quotation, an advance payment is collected before mobilisation of materials and labour to site. The advance covers material procurement and initial logistics.

The advance amount is specified in your written quotation and is non-refundable once materials have been procured specifically for your project.

If you cancel after paying an advance but before materials are procured, a full refund will be issued within 7 working days.

If you cancel after materials have been procured but before work begins on site, the cost of materials already purchased (at actual invoice value) will be deducted from the advance. Any remaining balance will be refunded within 14 working days.

Cancellation during active work

If you cancel a project after work has begun on site, you are liable for:

  • The full cost of materials procured and consumed up to the date of cancellation.
  • Labour charges for work completed up to the date of cancellation, calculated on a pro-rata basis against the total quoted labour cost.
  • Any mobilisation or logistics costs incurred that cannot be recovered.

A detailed account of costs incurred will be provided within 7 working days of cancellation. If the advance payment exceeds these costs, the difference will be refunded. If costs exceed the advance, an invoice for the balance will be issued.

Warranty claims and remediation

Victoria Waterproofing issues a 5-year written warranty on completed projects. The warranty is the primary mechanism for addressing any post-completion issues with treated surfaces.

Warranty claims are not refund claims. If a treated surface develops a leak within the warranty period, we will return to site and remediate the failure at no additional cost.

Refunds are not issued in place of warranty remediation. If you believe a completed project has failed, contact Subhash directly so we can schedule a diagnostic site visit.

Warranty claims are valid only for the specific surfaces treated and documented in the written warranty certificate. Failures caused by structural movement, damage by third parties, or subsequent construction work are not covered under the warranty.

Material supply orders

For material supply orders (B2B), the following terms apply:

  • Orders may be cancelled without penalty before dispatch. Contact us immediately by WhatsApp or phone to cancel.
  • Once materials have been dispatched, orders cannot be cancelled.
  • Returns of unopened, undamaged materials in original packaging may be accepted at our discretion within 7 days of delivery. Return transport costs are the buyer's responsibility.
  • Materials that have been opened, mixed, or partially used cannot be returned.

How to raise a cancellation or refund request

  • Please include your name, property address, quotation reference (if available), and the reason for cancellation.

We will acknowledge your request within 1 working day and confirm the applicable refund amount (if any) within 7 working days.

Refunds are processed via the original payment method where possible. For cash payments, refunds are made by bank transfer (NEFT/IMPS) to the account details you provide.

Disputes

We aim to resolve all cancellation and refund matters directly and amicably. If you are dissatisfied with how a refund request is handled, contact Subhash Chander directly to escalate.

All disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Sangareddy, Telangana, India.
