Our method

Six-step terrace and sidewall waterproofing process.

Surface preparation

We strip back the existing surface to a sound substrate. Loose concrete, old failed membranes, and surface contamination are removed. This is the step most local applicators skip, and it is the step that decides whether the new waterproofing lasts five years or five months.

Crack treatment

Every hairline and structural crack is opened, cleaned, and filled with a polymer-modified mortar or polyurethane sealant, depending on the crack type and movement profile.

Primer application

A bonding primer is applied to the prepared substrate at the manufacturer-specified coverage rate. The primer is what creates the chemical bond between the membrane and the concrete.

Membrane system

We select the membrane based on your terrace age, exposure direction, traffic load, and substrate condition. SBR-modified for general residential terraces. Bituminous for heavy-duty commercial decks. Polyurethane for sun-exposed sidewalls.

Top coat and protection

A UV-stable top coat or protective screed is applied to extend the membrane life under direct sun exposure. On trafficable terraces, we add a wear layer.

Curing and quality check

The system is allowed to cure for the manufacturer-specified duration. Before warranty handover, we conduct a water-flood test or a directed-spray test to confirm the system performs.

How much does terrace waterproofing cost in Sangareddy or Hyderabad?

Do you do sidewall waterproofing or only terraces?

Both. Sidewall waterproofing on the rain-facing side of a building is one of the most underdiagnosed problems in Hyderabad. If your inner walls are damp but your ceiling is dry, the water is almost always coming through the external wall, not the roof. We treat sidewalls with polyurethane elastomeric or SBR-modified systems depending on the exposure.

Can you do waterproofing during the monsoon?

Most waterproofing systems need a dry substrate for proper adhesion. We work through the monsoon on emergency leak control and indoor or basement waterproofing, but new terrace systems are best scheduled for the November to May window. If you have an active leak right now and the monsoon is on, send us a photo. We can usually do a temporary control measure to limit damage until the substrate is workable.

Do you give a written warranty for a small job, like a 400 sq ft terrace?

Yes. The warranty terms are the same whether the terrace is 400 sq ft or 40,000 sq ft. Same document, same five-year term, same signature.
